Bothell 2040

We’re building a green city for the future.

As your city councilmember, I’m committed to shaping a future for Bothell where everyone has a place to call home and where that home exists in harmony with our natural environment. We are actively advancing policies that support housing options for all income levels, so every family, worker, and student can find a home here. Our vision is rooted in inclusion and equity, creating vibrant, connected neighborhoods with walkable access to transit, parks, retail, and essential services.

At the same time, we recognize that our responsibility goes beyond buildings. We must be stewards of the land we call home. That’s why we continue to invest in climate-forward infrastructure, preserve urban forests, and protect vital ecosystems like our salmon-bearing streams. We are implementing a climate action plan and prioritizing green construction and clean transportation to reduce our carbon footprint.

These efforts are not separate; in fact, they are deeply connected. We are planning for a Bothell where new housing is built sustainably, where heritage trees shade neighborhoods, and where every development respects the terrain and native ecology. Together, we are building a green, inclusive city, a Bothell that leads by example, protects our environment, and ensures everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
